Elder Minchin and the Materials Relating to His Life and Ministry.
Elder E. L. Minchin was a humble friend of God who was greatly used in revealing Jesus and the way to walk with Jesus, to thousands of people throughout the globe.
The impact came as a result of his ongoing personal friendship with Jesus; the anointing of the Holy Spirit in his life; his enthusiasm and example for living a life fully given to God; his willingness to travel the globe in sharing the love of Jesus; the sacrificial support of his wife and children who endured the absence of husband and father for weeks at a time sometimes; his ongoing prayer life, his loving concern for those attending his meetings and writing him, his Bible-based, fatherly, responses to those writing him; clear understandings of the Bible and the practical application of those truths in daily life; his efforts to organize MV programs that would support young people in their walk with Jesus and help them make life-long commitments to serve God; and in all of this the infusion of the Holy Spirit in his demeaner, words, and life.
The materials found on his website include many of the articles published, sermons given, letters written, information on the youth revivals and congresses organized and participated in, reports of those meetings, testimonies of people whose lives were changed, correspondence with family members, as well as instructive anecdotes of his personal life.
Much information was carefully preserved by various family members in the desire to bless the generations that would follow, recognizing that the materials were a sacred trust to use for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Purpose and Use of the Materials
This website has been established not only to make these resources available, but to foster the study of that which he wrote and shared, to bring the same revival and commitment to life-long service that was the hallmark of his ministry. Accordingly, we ask that the materials on this website be used for study purposes and to bring about the same change that he so fervently worked for.
